Education

In 2010 I have managed to enter Academic Lyceum under World Languages University in Tashkent covering essential modules such as Teaching methodology, Learner's psychology, Lesson planning, and Philosophy. After successful graduation of Academic Lyceum, I decided to continue my studies at University of Sunderland studying Business management, Accounting, Operations management, MAnaging and Leading people, and Financial management. Finally in 2023 I started my MAster's Degree at University of Westminster in Teaching and Learning with TESOL.

In an era of developing technology, teachers' responsibility increases over integrating these technology tools into their educational purposes. In today's blog post I would like to share my experience of using EdPuzzle and Genially online platforms.  EdPuzzle To begin with, in my opinion EdPuzzle is a great tool to create educational videos with related questions so that students while watching a certain video stay focused trying to answer questions coming right during watching it. Hello everyone! My name is Diyora Nurmatova and I am an EFL and Math teacher, who also has an experience in teaching ICT at international schools. I have started my journey as an EFL teacher working at international schools such as The British School of Tashkent and Erudite Education School, where I have gained lots of experience in delivering lessons using different technology tools and conducting engaging lessons. (1651-4769).  During the time I studied Innovating Learning Technology module in my Master' Degree, I have read number of useful articles shared by our instructor. Although I found most of them useful and helpful, today I would focus on the article  “Students’ Perception of Learning Management Systems”  written by Suorsa and Eskillson (2014). This article identifies upper secondary school students’ perception towards the utilisation of Learning Management Systems.
